Bana New Testament

Speakers of Cameroon’s Bana language now have a published New Testament in their language. More than 500 people gathered in Gamboura March 12 to dedicate the New Testament. A group from a neighboring town sang and danced. People who had already bought their New Testaments were able to follow along when Scripture was read during the service. One Bana woman told the gathering that salvation had become clear for the first time after reading the Bana Scriptures. Pray the New Testament will speak clearly to the Bana people, helping them to grow spiritually.

I helped typeset the Bana New Testament in February last year. Visit our Bana page for more information. Read the rest »

KIPINGO KYA LENU – Taabua New Testament

With God's help, the three of us were able to complete the NT checking and typesetting in one month.Yesterday I had a time of prayer and saying good-bye with Pastor Kasokota and Kapasa. They have been with me in Nairobi for the last month, checking and typesetting the Taabua New Testament. Now they are finished! It’s been over 20 years since Kasokota first started in translation. Now, thanks to God, and many others who have helped along the way, the book will soon be sent for printing. Visit our Taabua page to learn more about the people and their language. Read the rest »
